WHO: “Macy’s is proud to serve as presenter of this year’s Quince Girl Expo, celebrating a very special time in a young girl’s life”, said Martha Gil De Montes, marketing supervisor for Macy’s. “In the Hispanic tradition, turning 15 is an important milestone and Macy’s is honored to be able to help make this an occasion the entire family will always remember.” Quinceaneras are a part of the symbolic celebration of a Latina girl’s presentation to society and adulthood. Celebrated the year a girl turns 15, the Quinceanera is one of the long-standing traditions among Latinos in the United States and throughout Latin America.
WHAT: Join us on this fun and interactive day. The Quince Girl & Latino Bridal Expo brings together a variety of vendors that offer products and services to the growing Hispanic market. Macy’s will show case new products for the Quinceanera; featured by Clinique make-up workshop. This workshop focuses on new colors, make-up trends, and before and after looks for “the special day”. Macy’s will also provide discount coupons for in-store use. In addition, Macy’s will raffle off gift baskets, and give each lucky participant a Macy’s gift bag, including free Clinique products and other Macy’s products which will thrill each girl as they get treated to a fun-filled day of activities provided by Macy’s.
